To coincide with the UN Year of the Forest 2011, I thought it would be fun to produce a modest photo book of scenes and some wonderful species to be found
in New Zealand, North Shore bush reserves.

        Description of Contents. -  We are fortunate to have on Auckland's North Shore about 30 bush reserves with good public access. Many of these
        reserves have a rich variety of species and visitors can enjoy a convenient rain forest experience within a short distance from city life.This book includes
        photographs of flora and fauna taken in North Shore bush reserves in New Zealand as an introduction to some of the many species to be found.there.
